Welcome to eyhop. Protecting your personal data is a top priority for JFV NUBIBUS.

  • User generated content. We collect the content you create and upload to our platform, including photos of your clothes, virtual outfits you assemble, and outfit planning data.

1.2 Data we collect automatically:

  • Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with our Services, such as the features you use most frequently, in order to understand your preferences and improve the Application.
  • Mobile device data. We collect technical information about your device, such as the device type and operating system version, iOS or Android, to ensure compatibility and optimize the performance of our Services.

Article 2: How and why we use your data, purposes and legal bases

In accordance with the GDPR, each processing of your personal data is based on a legal ground that justifies its use. Below are the reasons why we process your information.

  • To provide and manage our Services. The main reason we collect your data is to operate eyhop. This includes creating and managing your account and saving your virtual wardrobe. For these purposes, we use your account and profile data.
    Legal basis: performance of a contract. By using our Services, you agree to the Terms of Use, which form a contract between you and JFV NUBIBUS. Processing this data is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations.
  • To improve our Services and ensure security. We continuously work to improve your experience. To do so, we analyze how you and other users interact with the Application, such as which features are most used or where bugs occur. We rely on usage data and device data. We also use this data, along with account data, to protect our platform against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
    Legal basis: legitimate interest. We have a legitimate interest in improving our Application, meeting user expectations, and maintaining a secure environment for all users.
  • To enable features based on your consent. Some features of the Application require your explicit authorization.
    Legal basis: consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your device settings.
  • To promote our Services. We may run marketing campaigns on third party platforms. To measure their effectiveness, for example to know whether you installed the Application after seeing an advertisement, we may use your device advertising identifier.
    Legal basis: legitimate interest. We have a commercial interest in promoting our Services and understanding which marketing strategies are effective.
  • To comply with legal obligations. As a simplified joint stock company, we are subject to legal obligations, particularly in tax and accounting matters. For example, we must retain transaction data such as invoices and payment records for a specific period. We may also be required to disclose information in response to a valid request from judicial authorities.

Article 3: Data sharing (recipients)

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted partners when necessary. These include:

  • Hosting: Your data is hosted by our provider Hostinger, which ensures the security of our server infrastructure.
  • Analytics providers: We use analytics tools provided by development platforms, such as Apple Developer Analytics for iOS, to obtain aggregated and anonymized statistics about the use of our Application.
  • Advertising partners: We use services such as TikTok Ads to promote our Application. If you install our Application following one of our advertisements, a technical identifier may be shared with the platform to measure campaign performance. Your name and email address are not shared.
  • Legal authorities: We may be required to disclose your data if required by law or as part of a judicial proceeding.

Article 4: International data transfers

As the headquarters of JFV NUBIBUS are located in France, we strive to store your data within the European Economic Area. However, some of our partners listed in Article 3 may process data outside the European Economic Area.
